Clinic Tour
Slideshow: Virtual Tour
Old Waiting Area
BEFORE- We had the small waiting area and the terrazzo flooring that never looked clean, no matter how much we scrubbed it. We had limited counter space and the receptionists had limited storage space.
New Waiting Area
AFTER- The waiting room has doubled in size and now has warm and inviting earth tones! There is plenty of counter space for our clients and lots of storage for our receptionists. We also have a separate alcove for our medical records, givng us a more neat and orderly look.
Old Exam Rooms
BEFORE- Our two exam rooms needed updating and we definitly needed MORE of them.
New Exam Rooms
AFTER- Not only did we update the exam rooms, but we have added three more for a total of five exam rooms. We put in new oak cabinetry, and we also updated the exam tables. We have the option to use the tables, or we can fold them up against the wall to create more floor space for our bigger patients. Each exam room is also equipped to display digital radiographs taken of your pet.
Old Concrete Runs
BEFORE- Half of our dog runs were outside with a corrugated fiberglass covering. The other runs were outside as well, but with no covering. The pets were protected from rain and snow in the sheltered runs, but were still exposed to the outdoor temperatures. In extreme weather we had to limit the amount of time each dog had in the runs. The runs were constructed of concrete and 60+ years old and were showing wear and tear.
New Indoor Ventilated Stainless Steel Runs
AFTER- Now our runs are indoors and climate controlled so your pet can take as long as they need. The runs boast their own separate ventilation system and easier drain system than we had before. They are constructed of stainless steel with an indestructible epoxy flooring, making cleaning and disinfecting much easier.
Old Pharmacy
BEFORE- What you see is what you get. We had extremely limited storage space available for our pharmacy items, limiting availability to our clients.
New Pharmacy
AFTER- With this beautiful oak cabinetry we have more than quadrupled our pharmacy area allowing us to stock more products and in larger quantities. We now also have a refrigerator right there in the pharmacy instead of having to retrieve refrigerated medications from a separate part of the building.
Old Laboratory
BEFORE- Our lab was crowded and over stuffed. We had desperately outgrown it.
New Laboratory
AFTER- Our new lab area is spacious and has room to grow!
Old Office (affectionately dubbed "The Submarine")
In the old clinic, believe it or not, SIX of us shared this office. We only had seating and computers for three, so three of us had to stand. Needless to say, it was cramped and made phone conversations almost impossible. Now Dr. Moll and the Practice Manager have their own offices, and the associates and techs have their office. And everyone has a chair!
When You Get Here
Our friendly receptionists (and our hospital cat, Percy)will greet you and guide you through your pet's visit with us. They are also readily available to help answer any questions you may have or make an appointment for you and your pet.
Getting blood drawn
On both cats and dogs, blood is drawn from the jugular vein in the pet's neck. Sometimes, if your pet is very sick, or a little rambunctious, it is easier to withdraw blood from a vein located on the inner back leg.
Getting Ready For Surgery
When prepping a patient for surgery the technician shaves the area where the doctor will be making his incision. This area is then scrubbed with an antibacterial solution. The solution will turn the skin an orange color. Don't be alarmed, it's completely normal and will fade in time.
During Surgery
Our surgical technicians keep a close eye on your pet during any surgical procedure we perform. The vital statistics are closely and constantly monitored using our various anesthetic monitoring equipment.
Surgery Suite
After being prepped, and intubated (a breathing tube placed down the throat delivering anesthesia and oxygen)your pet is placed on the operating table. Our state of the art surgical suite offers advanced surgical care for your pet.
Before The Routine Dental
Before the routine dentistry is performed plaque and tartar are plainly visible. Routine dental cleanings can help improve your pet's health and longevity. On your next visit ask us about cleaning your pets' teeth.
After The Dental
This is the "after" picture of the routine dentistry. Not only did the thorough cleaning remove the plaque and tartar that had built up, it also freshened the pet's breath!
